Gary, Ind. -- The Mount Mary University Blue Angels travelled to the RedHawks of Indiana University Northwest. This was their first game of a three-game away stand. The RedHawks took all three sets with dominance.
Inside The Box Score:
- Andriana White (Erin, Tenn.) and Gabby Saucedo Salas (Flagstaff, Ariz.) led the charge with four kills apiece.

What Went Down:
The RedHawks jumped out to a big lead in set one. Kills from White and Saucedo Salas scored points for the Blue Angels, but they could not keep up with the pressure from Indiana Northwest. The Blue Angels fell in the first set 25-10. In set two, Rosalinda Palacios (Chicago, Ill.) gave Mount Mary their first lead of the day with a hard-hit attack from the middle. The RedHawks fought back, but White's attack found Mount Mary their only other lead of the set. The RedHawks' pressure did not slow down, winning set two, 25-16. Set three began with a three-point run from the RedHawks. Saucedo Salas scored a kill to give MMU some momentum. In the final attempts for the Blue Angels, Ava Fincher secured a kill from Rachel Champion (Tallahassee, Fla.), but it was not enough to catch up to the RedHawks. They took set three 25-12, and the match.
The Blue Angels will be back on the road tomorrow, Wednesday, September 17th. They will play Moody Bible at 6:30 p.m. for a non-conference matchup.
