The Red Lions roll into Saturday's game with a record of 5-5. One of those wins coming over the Blue Angels in a lopsided 11-1 affair. A game where the team leader, and NAIA leader, in goals scored eight goals all by herself. The big game has propelled Abigail Crockett to the top of the NAIA goals list and sits on top with 35 goals; second on that NAIA list has 18 goals.
The Blue Angels come into the game at 0-12. So far the defense has been the story, Becky Onan (So./Grafton, Wis.) leads her team, and NCAA DIII, in saves with 151 this season. While not just getting the opportunity, Onan leads the Great South Athletic Conference with a .821 save percentage.
Offensively the Blue Angels are led by newcomer Ashley Pfeifer (Fr./Elkhart Lake, Wis.) who has four goals on the year. Pfeifer is tied for fifth in the GSAC in goals scored.
