Cross Country Finalizes Fall 2021 Schedule
Slate features seven total races including NACC Championship & NCAA DIII Regional meets
MILWAUKEE - The Mount Mary University Cross Country team has finalized its 2021 race schedule, featuring five "regular" season events and a pair of postseason meets.
The Blue Angels will start their 2021 campaign at the Tom Barry Invitational on Sept. 4. The annual tune-up event hosted by St. Norbert College takes place at Colburn Park in Green Bay and is the only 5-kilometer race of the season.
MMU heads to the North Shore for the Ken Weidt Classic hosted on the campus of Concordia-Wisconsin in Mequon on Sept. 11 before a three-week break. A busy October sees the Blue Angel harriers at Wisconsin Lutheran College's Warrior Invitational in nearby Greenfield Park in West Allis—geographically the closest meet on this year's fall slate.
Mount Mary will then have back-to-back weekends at Reid Municipal Golf Course in Appleton for the Gene Davis Invite on Oct. 9 and the Wisconsin Private College Championships on Oct. 16—both hosted by Lawrence University.
As current affiliate members of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, the Blue Angel harriers will head back to Mequon for the NACC Championships on Oct. 30 before trekking to rural northwestern Wisconsin for the NCAA Division III North Regional on Nov. 13.
