Brianna Ecker has been named to the Coast 2 Coast All-Conference Volleyball team. Ecker, a junior hitter from Fond du Lac was named to the C2C second team.
Fredericksburg, Virginia – Heading into Saturday's match up against the Pratt Institute, the Mount Mary volleyball team knew a few things. 5th place in the Coast 2 Coast conference would be on the line, and it would be their final match of the season. The match was tight throughout, and though they fell in four sets, the Blue Angels showed the same fight and resilience that they have all season.
Fredericksburg, Virginia – Following the best regular season since 2012, the Mount Mary Volleyball earned the opportunity to compete in the Coast 2 Coast Conference Volleyball tournament. The winner of the event earning a trip to the NCAA Division 3 Volleyball tournament. Mount Mary showed competitive spirt in their opening match, but the Seagulls of Salisbury played three very clean sets and swept MMU in the match.
Today we continue the recap of the 2022 Mount Mary Volleyball season. The team heads to the Coast 2 Coast conference tournament this Friday and Saturday, with an automatic birth to the NCAA tournament on the line.
Over the next three days, we will look back at the 2022 Mount Mary Volleyball season as they head to the University of Mary Washington for the Coast 2 Coast Conference Tournament. The 2022 Blue Angel team has won more matches than any MMU squad since 2012.
Milwaukee, WI – There was no shortage of storylines heading into Monday’s evening Mount Mary volleyball against Maranatha Baptist. It was the fifth meeting between the two teams, the final regular season match of the year for MMU, and the Blue Angels last opportunity to play on their home court and build some momentum for this weeks Coast 2 Coast conference tournament.
Milwaukee, WI- The Mount Mary Volleyball team made the short trip to Wisconsin Lutheran College for two matches on Saturday. They would be the last regular season road matches of the season for MMU, the Blue Angels showed flashes of great play on Saturday but fell in both matches, to Carroll and MSOE respectively.
Milwaukee, WI- The Mount Mary volleyball team headed into day two of the 2022 MMU Fall invite hoping to snap a three-match winless streak. That was not in the cards on Saturday however, as the Blue Angels fell to two tough opponents in Alma College and Maranatha Baptist University.
Milwaukee, WI- Wednesday evening saw the Volleyball teams from Mount Mary and Alverno College meet for a third time this season. The meeting was the first at Alverno and the contest could not have been much closer, with Alverno winning a five set thriller over the Blue Angels.
Watertown, WI- The Mount Mary volleyball team has consistently shown a refusal to give up and a great amount of fight all season. That was apparent again on Thursday, as the young Blue Angel squad rallied back from two sets down to even the match against Maranatha Baptist. MMU won the third and fourth sets, but the homestanding Sabercats took set 5 and defeated Mount Mary for a third time this season.
Milwaukee, WI- The Mount Mary Blue Angel volleyball team took care of business Saturday against Finlandia. The Blue Angels defeated the Lions for the second time this season in a three set sweep. With their 8th win of the season, the Blue Angels have clinched the best MMU volleyball season since 2012, a great accomplishment for the young squad.
Milwaukee, WI- The Mount Mary volleyball team hosted Maranatha Baptist University on Friday evening at the Bloechl Center. The Blue Angels hoped to avenge an earlier loss to the Sabercats, but it was not to be on this night. Maranatha won a competitive match by a 3 sets to 1 final.

Appleton, WI- Coming off a weekend where they both played outstanding offensively, Brianna Ecker and Kaitlyn Powers were named to the all-tournament team from the weekend's Lawrence University Invite in Appleton, Wisconsin.
APPLETON, WI – Day 2 of the Lawrence Invite saw the Mount Mary Volleyball team split two matches. The day’s first match saw MMU drop a heartbreaking five set match to Northland College. The Blue Angels rebounded however, and for a second straight Saturday, knocked off the Vikings of Lawrence University.
APPLETON, WI - The Mount Mary volleyball team competed in the Lawrence University Invite on Friday. The Blue Angels were unable to break into the win column on the day. MMU dropped two close matches, to Rockford University and Maranatha Baptist University.
MILWAUKEE, WI – After an exciting two days of Volleyball, Mount Mary concluded the 2022 Blue Angel bash with a match against the Vikings of Lawrence University. The Blue Angels overpowered the Vikings for a 3-0 sweep. Mount Mary went 3-1 over the two day event and now carries a record of 4-4 on the season.

The Blue Angels used a combination of veteran players and promising young contributors to take two decisive wins on the day. Mount Mary easily knocked off both Alverno and Finlandia to even their season record to 3-3.
LAKE FOREST, IL – The Mount Mary Volleyball team faced their 3rd and 4th straight opponents from Illinois as they competed for a second consecutive day at the Forester Invite at Lake Forest College. The Illinois squads proved to be too tough as the Blue Angels dropped matches to Lake Forest and Dominican on the day.
