The Blue Angels landed with their most efficient set of the night in the second set. MMU was able to land six kills on 29 total attacks. After the Raiders garnered a five point lead early on in the set, the Blue Angels chipped back to make the deficit just two.

A 10-0 run by the Raiders after MMU cut the lead to two, gave MSOE the lead they would not surrender thereafter. MSOE hit 11 team kills, while MMU forced the Raiders into five team errors. But the Raiders held on for the 25-17 set win.

In the third set, the Blue Angels again attacked heavily on offense. This time, the Blue Angels crushed six team kills on their 25 total attacks.
