Milwaukee, WI – Friday featured the first ever soccer match between the visiting Knights of Spurgeon College and the Mount Mary Blue Angels. Milwaukee, WI- Mount Mary and Maranatha Baptist played to a 2-2 draw on the soccer field Thursday. The Sabercats had defeated the Blue Angels earlier in the season, MMU nearly flipped the result in one of their best performances of the season. Milwaukee, WI- The Mount Mary soccer team had seen a definite improvement in their offensive attack over their last few matches. Their consistent attacks on net continued Sunday against Andrews, unfortunately the Blue Angels could not find the back of the net. The Andrews University Cardinals did only once, but that was enough to give Andrews the 1-0 victory on the day.
MILWAUKEE, WI – Coming off a draw against Alverno College, the Mount Mary soccer team looked to continue the positive momentum at home Sunday against Monmouth College. The visiting Scots had other ideas, they did not allow MMU to score and put up seven goals of their own to beat the Blue Angels 7-0.
