Blue Angels Travel to Minnesota To Face The Rams
The Blue Angels of Mount Mary University will be headed to Minneapolis, Minn. to face off against the North Central University Rams. The match will start Sept. 13 at 2:00 pm.
MILWAUKEE – The Blue Angels of Mount Mary University will be headed to Minneapolis, Minn. to face off against the North Central University Rams. The match will start Sept. 13 at 2:00 pm.
The Rams are now (0-1) on the season. NCU is coached by Allison Meadows who is in her fourth year as head coach. The last game for the Rams was against Providence University College with a final score of 2-0. Taylor Patch (Fr./Bismark, N.D.) led the way for the Rams with seven saves with nine shots on goal.
This will be the second contest in a two game road trip to Minnesota. The Blue Angels will be heading into the road trip at (1-2). The last game before the trip, MMU beat Eureka College in a strong offensive showing for the Blue Angels with a final score of 5-1. Emily Ristow (Jr./Sheboygan, Wis.) scored a hat-trick, and the defense was on point as they would only allow nine shots on goal and only one would sneak by Becky Onan (Fr./Grafton, Wis.). Onan leads the Association of Division III Independents with 52 saves on the year.
After Mount Mary University plays North Central University, they will make a directional 180 and head to Chicago, Ill. The Blue Angels will square off against the Robert Morris-Lake County University Eagles on Sept. 17 with the kickoff 4:00 pm.
