Milwaukee, Wis. -- The Blue Angels of Mount Mary University welcomed the University of St. Francis Fighting Saints to the Bloechl Center. The Blue Angels hosted a Play4Kay Breast Cancer Awareness game where they honored the legacy of Olympic Gold Medal-winning and Hall of Fame women's basketball coach Kay Yow. They raised money for the fight against cancer and recognized their loved ones.
The Fighting Saints won the contest, 100-36.
Box Score Highlights:
- Norriah Broomfield (Milwaukee, Wis.) picked up 12 points on the night. Vanessa Diaz (Kissimmee, Fla.) contributed nine, and Deriya Wilson (Milwaukee, Wis.) chipped in seven.
- Broomfield and Diaz grabbed eight and seven rebounds consecutively.
The Blue Angels will host their season finale on Saturday, February 21st. They will tip off against Calumet at 1:00 p.m. They will also be recognizing four-year member Deja Rivers for senior day.
