Joliet, Ill. --- The Blue Angels rang in the new year by stepping back onto the court. They travelled south to play the Fighting Saints of the University of St. Francis. The Mount Mary University Blue Angels have not played in nearly half a month due to the holidays. The Fighting Saints outscored the Blue Angels 119-33.
Box Score Highlights:
- Mikkalla Robertson (Milwaukee, Wis.) led the Blue Angels, scoring 16 points and picking up eight rebounds.
- Sanai Ballard (Highland, Ind.) and Norriah Broomfield (Milwaukee, Wis.) each chimed in two steals apiece.
- Avery Gorn (Waterford, Wis.) knocked down two three-point baskets, shooting 50% from behind the arc.
