The first Great South Athletic Conference match-up of the season as the Lions come to town.

Finlandia comes to town hunting for their first win of the season. The 0-17 Lions may appear to have slipped after going 13-11 in 2014-15, but the team's strength of schedule should not go unnoticed. Along with some of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's top teams, UW-Superior and UW-Stevens Point, the Lions played NCAA DI School Michigan Tech.

The Lions live and die by the 3-point shot, 48.9 percent of the teams field goals this season come from outside the arc. As Finlandia tends to shoot outside, the team is only hitting at a .303 clip. That offense has led the Lions to 53.9 points per night.

Julia Daavettila leads her Lions with 11.4 points per game, 8.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 37.4 percent for 3-pointers.

The Blue Angels (2-10) are coming off a 72-53 loss to Emmaus Bible College. The loss saw the Blue Angels offense get going. For the first time since Nov. 24, 2015 the Blue Angels had more than one player score double-digit figures in points.

This year, the Blue Angels average 39.3 points per game. With MMU scoring 39 or more points in four of their last five games, that average appears to be on the climb.

Becky Onan (So./Grafton, Wis.) continues to lead the Blue Angels with 13.1 points per game, 9.6 rebounds per game and leads the Great South Athletic Conference with 3.0 blocks per game. Teammate Jess Runge (Jr./Freedom, Wis.) has picked up her offense recently averaging 7.5 points per game, 3.2 assists per game and is second in the GSAC with 2.3 steals per game.
