MILWAUKEE – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference released their list for NACC Scholar-Athletes. The Mount Mary University cross country team has participated in the NACC since the 2015 season, and as they have each year since, the Blue Angels have sent multiple members to the NACC Scholar-Athlete List.
The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athletes List recognizes student-athletes that complete the season with a grade point average of 3.25 or higher while maintaining at least 12 credits per semester; each academic season stands on its own.
This season, six different Blue Angels were among the honored by their conference. The cross country team continued to improve all season long on their respective tracks, and while finishing sixth in two NACC hosted events in 2018, the team did the vital task of taking care of their academics.
The Blue Angels honored by the NACC in alphabetic order: Ana Andrade (Milwaukee, Wis.), Amanda Fahrendorf (Cedarburg, Wis.), Miranda Fluegge (Menomonee Falls, Wis.), Emily Green (Waukesha, Wis.), Christina Ishaq (Bayview, Wis.), Johnelle Suto (Enterprise, Ore.).
