The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference fall season is coming to a close. As the Blue Angels finish their first season in the NACC, they get ready to face Wisconsin Lutheran College who is 7-2 (5-1) on the season. One of the top teams in the NACC, the Warriors are fueled by their singles. No. 2 singles Kalyn Geddes is 7-2 in her matches this year, and 5-1 in NACC matches.
The Blue Angels are sitting at 1-8 (1-7) and are sitting at 10th place. With a strong finish this weekend, the Blue Angels could finish as high as seventh.
MMU has been trying to find the right lineup, and with Amy Gossett (Fr./Franklin, Wis.) finding consistency in the No. 3 singles spot, the Blue Angels may have found that right mix. Gossett is 3-2 in the third spot, and is 4-3 in singles against NACC opponents.
