The Stars are 1-5 (1-3) on the season. Picked to finish fourth in the NACC preseason poll. Dominican has started out a bit slow. Their most recent conference game was a loss against Alverno College 7-2. The other common opponent is Lakeland, a team the Stars defeated 5-4. Carmelita Villalobos is the number one singles player, although the rough start, Villalobos is 2-4 in that spot.

So far this season, MMU is still trying to find the right recipe for success. An early streak of three straight games with no team point, eventually led to a big 8-1 win over Lakeland. That was the sole win and conference win for the Blue Angels. Krista Olson (Sr./Appleton, Wis.) has the best singles record this season with 3-2 record overall.
