MILWAUKEE -- The Marian Sabres from Fond du Lac, Wis. are going up against the Mount Mary Blue Angels tennis team at Fond du Lac High School starting at 2:00 pm on Sept. 13.

The Sabres are now (1-5) on the season. Marian University is coached by Marcus Wiegert who is in his first year as head coach. To date, the last game for the Sabres was against Aurora University with a final score of 9-0 in favor of AU. Marian University is on a 5 dual match losing streak.

The Blue Angels are (2-0) on the year. Both victories for MMU came against opponents the Sabres have already faced this season. The Blue Angels took Ripon with a final of (7-2) in the last dual match, and started off the season with a (6-3) victory over Concordia University Chicago. Marian University started the season with a (5-4) win over Ripon, but fell to Concordia University Chicago (6-3). Ana Mercado (So./Grafton, Wis.) has been leading the way this season with the a victory in first singles, the first time in two seasons, and has been a major contributor in the doubles victories with Shauna Jacobs (Fr./East Troy, Wis.) helping out big time.

After the contest on Sept. 13, the Blue Angels have almost a week to prepare for Lakeland College. The dual match against the Muskies will be played at the Sports Core complex in Kohler, Wis. starting at 4:00 pm.
