Mount Mary University catcher Sam Allen has been named softball player of the week by the Coast to Coast Conference.  Allen was red hot as a hitter last week.  In six games, Allen had 9 hits in 12 at bats and also knocked in eight runs and scored ten.  The Blue Angels went 5-1 on the week defeating Maranatha Baptist four times and claiming a single victory against Alverno.
