The 2022 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Softball All-Conference honors were unveiled. Four Mount Mary student athletes were recognized, all on the second team:

Aislinn Strusz, a senior from Aurora, Illinois, has had a fantastic season and has in many ways re-written the Mount Mary softball record book through this season and her entire career.  She is now the all-time MMU NCAA era leader in runs batted in and knocking on the door of being program leader in all time hits as well.  In the 2022 campaign, Strusz has set a new single season record for runs batted in with 36, and has a chance to finish with the highest single season batting average in Mount Mary modern program history.

Brianna Lupa, a sophomore from Plano, Illinois, has broken the Mount Mary single season records for pitching wins and strikeouts.  In only her second season, Lupa is already the MMU leader in career strikeouts.  Her 3.19 era has her in position to also set a single season record for earned run average.  If she continues on this pace, Lupa may hold every pitching record in Mount Mary history. She also was an important contributor at the plate, with a batting average of .309 and 11 runs batted in.

Sam Allen, a sophomore from Rolling Meadows, Illinois, was a rock-solid backstop at catcher for the Blue Angels all season, and she shone on the offensive side of the plate as well.  Allen was Mount Mary's leader in runs scored at 27 and home runs with 2. She also hit for an impressive .351 average, to go with 26 hits, 17 runs batted in and 8 stolen bases.

Micaela Gonzalez, a first-year player from Brown Deer, Wisconsin, had a most impressive debut for the Blue Angels this season.  She boasted a .393 average, serving as an ignitor at the top of the lineup for MMU for much of the season.  She scored 25 runs, had 22 hits and 16 runs batted in.
