The Blue Angels took on two opponents from Chicagoland in two single road contests, The Maroons of the University of Chicago and the Blue Jays of Elmhurst University, each at their home sites.  Unfortunately, Mount Mary could not deliver the big hit in either game and fell to the Maroons and Blue Jays in close contests. Mount Mary has now won six straight games and eight of their last nine. The six-game winning streak is the longest in the NCAA era of Mount Mary softball, stretching back to the 2010 season.
