KENOSHA, Wis. – Today at the Lucian Rosa Invitational the Mount Mary University cross country team finished sixth in team scoring. The host UW Parkside Rangers took first place; Amanda Johnson of the Rangers finished first in individual times with a 23:17.3 on the six-kilometer course.

In the pool of NCAA runners from all different divisions, Christina Ishaq (Sr./Milwaukee, Wis.) of the Blue Angels finished 43rd in her third race of the season. As the senior continues to lead her squad in 2018, this week, she was able to finish with a 27:58.9 to set the bar for her teammates.

Not far behind Ishaq, Miranda Fluegge (So./Menomonee Falls, Wis.) and Emily Green (Fr./Waukesha, Wis.) finished in 56th and 57th place respectively. Fluegge trudged the track with the rest of her team on the sunny, yet brisk day and was able to finish with a 29:41.1 time. Teammate Emily Green was a literal step behind finishing at 29:43.0.
