Head Coach Kelsey Peterson has been at the helm of Mount Mary University volleyball since 2012.

She picked up her first ever win as a collegiate coach in Mount Mary’s first match of the 2012 season, sweeping Grace Bible College at Mount Mary’s Blue Angel Invitational over Labor Day weekend.

In September 2013, Peterson was also named Mount Mary's Assisitant Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator.

A native of Angola, Ind., Peterson obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Health & Kinesiology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., with a specialization in Movement & Sport Sciences. In 2012, she earned a Masters of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville before relocating to Milwaukee in the fall of 2012.

While at Tennessee, Peterson worked with Lady Vols volleyball program as a team manager of statistics and video operation for the 2011-12 fall and spring seasons. She has also continued to coach volleyball at the youth level, working with Phoenix Rising Club Volleyball team in Kerns, Tenn., and Milwaukee Sting based out of Waukesha.

As a player, Peterson played on the Purdue University Volleyball Club team and was a four-year player at Angola High School in northeastern Indiana.
